Select Telugu and click "Add" to make Telugu a recognized keyboard layout. Open a blank document in Microsoft Word. Click "File," then select "Options" from the bottom of the list. Click "Language." Click the drop-down menu box labeled "Add additional editing languages" and select "Telugu." Click "OK" to go back to the document editing screen. Start any Office application, including WordPad or Notepad. Click the Language Indicator located in the System Tray on the right side of the Windows taskbar or on Language bar and select TE-Telugu. Select Telugu Indic Input 3 from the shortcut menu that appears. The PC is now ready to start typing in Telugu. Open a blank document in Microsoft Word.
